I am Myself

I had forgotten something important.
I am not a coward.
I am only myself, no one else.
No need to look so closely at things just to make them unbearable.
I am the Captain of my Soul.
I control my fate; not my environment, not my parents, not my peers, not the places I'm in, not the government. 
Just because there are six billion other people out there, does not mean I am worthless, does not mean I can't make a difference, does not mean I am not myself.
I am myself, and no one else.
I am not a coward.
I am not afraid.
I am not weak.
I am not in doubt.
I am myself, and no one else.

And I am getting back on my feet.
