My light just went out

My light just went out...
it made a funny noise while it was flickering uneasily.
I looked up curiously,
and flipped the switch down experimentally.
When I tried to turn it back on,
it wouldn't/ couldn't light my way anymore.

Cleaning

The feeling of a finished cleaning job is a really good one. I'm usually too lazy to clean, so I only do it if I'm either bribed, inspired, or simply can't stand it any longer. It's usually the last reason, since I have a real low tolerance rate (though I try to keep that hidden). I'm really good at cleaning my own room, though. Something about it being my domain.

One minute

I'd rather stay in my room for an indefinable amount of time, than gather together for one minute. Because you said one minute, and then you said two.
